In 2008-2009 we did a major renovation of the mill. This was the starting point for the café activities that started in summer 2009. The mill building was carefully renovated to restore it to its original condition. The mills and other machinery have been preserved and contribute to the authentic environment.

During the winter of 2017-2018, we have drilled for geothermal heating and installed a heating system and ventilation. This is to be able to expand the business even during the winter months. The mill's basement has also been renovated to meet our needs for premises for baking and cooking and new kitchen equipment / machines have been purchased.

Solar panels were installed in summer 2019.

For these investments, we have received EU support for rural development.
